Every great rider remembers the people who gave them a chance.
Schools Cycling exists because volunteers believe young people deserve opportunities to race, learn, grow, and belong. As our sport continues to grow across New Zealand, we're looking for a few passionate people to help shape what comes next.
We're introducing four new volunteer executive roles to bring specialist skills, share the workload, and strengthen the support we provide to schools, clubs, and young riders.
You won't be expected to do everything yourself. You'll work alongside the Schools Cycling Executive, regional representatives, schools, clubs, and event organisers. What we're looking for are people who are passionate about one area and are willing to help move it forward.
Whether you have experience in business, education, community sport, governance, coaching, health and safety, or simply want to give something back, we'd love to hear from you.

Sponsorship Coordinator
Help create opportunities for young riders.
Strong partnerships allow Schools Cycling to deliver better events, support more schools, and continue growing across New Zealand.
As Sponsorship Coordinator, you'll help identify potential sponsors, develop partnership opportunities, and build lasting relationships with organisations that share our vision.

Schools Cycling Development Coordinator
Help more young people discover cycling.
This role is all about helping schools and clubs create pathways that encourage more students to get involved and stay involved.
You'll work with regional representatives, schools, and clubs to identify opportunities for growth and help strengthen participation across New Zealand.

Women & Girls Community Growth Lead
Help create a place where every girl feels welcome to ride and race.
This role champions initiatives that encourage more women and girls to participate, continue riding, and step into leadership opportunities within Schools Cycling.
You'll help ensure women's and girls' voices are represented while supporting programmes that create an inclusive and welcoming community.

Health, Safety & Safeguarding Officer
Help ensure every young rider enjoys a safe and supportive environment.
You'll provide guidance around health and safety, safeguarding, and risk management while helping organisers and volunteers understand good practice.
This role plays an important part in ensuring Schools Cycling continues to provide safe, well-managed events for everyone involved.
